Client summit in chilly Antwerp
Last week we attended our client Palo Alto Networks for their annual summit in Antwerp, Belgium.
JNI run the online store for PAN shop.paloaltonetworks.com and it was great to touch base with some of our contacts to really get a grip on their merchandising expectations for this year.
It was a whistle-stop tour, leaving London in the morning, zipping over to Belgium on the Eurostar in time for a lunch meeting with the four marketing managers who run each quarter of EMEA.
We also had the pleasure of meeting the head of global field marketing from Santa Clara, near San Francisco, over the pond.
The meeting was a prime opportunity to discuss the contents of the online store and the ways in which we can launch it to their partners.
After a successful day trip, we zoomed back to London, full of fresh ideas and exciting prospects for our client’s online store!

JNI London welcomes JNI Athens to the fold!
Lorna North
Earlier this month, the JNI London office had the great opportunity to meet the members of our newly opened office in Athens, Greece.
This is an exciting time for JNI with our Greek colleagues, Maria Ninou, George Dourakis and Nikos Korakianitis expanding the business in beautiful and historic Athens; birth place of the Olympics and home of the ancient Acropolis.
President of the London branch, Liz Venz and Maria Dourakis have already started meetings with some huge clients such as Coca-Cola.
As for their experience of London, our Greek colleagues had an excellent time and couldn’t understand why us natives sometimes complain – a few weeks of the cold weather could explain it!
Their week saw them Boris biking to the Notting Hill office, enjoying a full English breakfast, trawling the Portobello Markets whilst refuelling on an alfresco hot dog and staring in awe at the uncanny wax work models of the rich and famous at Madame Tussauds!
They also marvelled at St Paul’s Cathedral and surveyed the land from the dizzy heights of the London Eye.
The best part for them was taking the Boris bikes through Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park and Marble Arch on a beautiful crisp and blue skied day.
It wasn’t all fun, there was naturally some work to be done.
The Greek team experienced an interesting trip with Account Executive, Guy Nicholson to the factory where they brand our clients’ logos onto Moleskine notebooks.
It was an interesting opportunity for the Greek team to see how the London office works and get a handle on our accounts, products and the way we manage it all.
Thanks to the new Athens office, we now have access to a wide range of High Tech products such as Ipads, televisions; cameras etc. through our local Greek vendor and can fulfil any local orders very quickly.
We wish the Greek team every success in the early months of the new office and we hope they visit again soon.

JNI thinks globally and acts locally to produce stock across the UK and Europe
JNI are currently rolling out a new initiative that will mean great possibilities for our EMEA clients.
We will be providing you with the opportunity to get promotional merchandise immediately from local stock across the UK and Europe.
We will achieve this through a variety of new measures, a popular one being no minimum quantities on orders allowing you to get the product you want without having to order in minimum quantities.
This will further enable our clients to use up their last-minute budgets, choose items from a hot new collection of 1,500 promotional premiums and despatch within 48 hours for all orders across the UK and Europe.
Our warehouses are based in Europe in addition to our main UK site and we can bill you in your local currency to make life easier on your finance department.
We are also in the midst of building a new webstore that will detail all products and quantities that are currently in stock. With state of the art print facilities across the UK and Europe we can decorate the merchandise with your logo quickly and professionally.
In addition to this, JNI have also recently opened a new office in Greece, making the JNI network even bigger and creating more of a local presence around the world for our clients.

JNI London throw a stylish Christmas party
Lorna North
‘Tis the season to be merry and so last week, JNI London put on a spectacular Christmas party for a high profile production company in one of the city’s stylish venues.
Aqua Nueva is situated on top of iconic department store building, Dickens and Jones on Regent Street and has a contemporarily Spanish theme to it. Its roof terrace and thoughtful design made it an obvious choice to host this particular Christmas party.
The guests arrived at 7:30pm and were led through a grand entrance into a lift and rocketed straight up to the 5th floor. JNI members, Torie and Guy were there to meet the party-goers at the exclusive velvet rope from which they meandered down a dimly lit and funky corridor into the private area.
The whole vibe felt fresh and seamlessly stylish with modern bowl food circulating that consisted of mushroom and truffle ravioli, cod croquettes and Iberian tenderloin skewers with chumichurri sauce.
The guests sipped on bubbles and Japanese Velvet cocktails – served with mixed berries and enjoyed the ambient surroundings whilst catching up with their colleagues.
The party was entertained by a performance from The Kicks, an energetic, 4 piece all male band performing rock and pop classics.
A combination of the high location, trendy and mood making décor, food, drinks and entertainment made this event a very special Christmas party.
JNI London are looking forward to holding more successful events for their clients in 2012!
